Advice from the people who would build it
Advice and delivery are different jobs, and it helps when the same people do both. We are developers as well as advisers: we have been building business systems since the 1990s, and we run the IT that many of our clients depend on. So when we say something is possible, it is because we have built something like it. When we recommend something, it is with the people who would actually have to build, deploy and support it in the room.
Just as important is knowing when not to build. Sometimes the honest answer is a £20-a-month off-the-shelf tool, or a change to how information is captured, and we will say so.

What does AI consultancy cost for a small business?
It depends on what you need. A half-day strategy session is £450, and gives you a clear picture of where AI can genuinely help and what implementation would cost. Training workshops run from half a day to a full day. Implementation projects are scoped individually — some are straightforward automations, others more involved. We'll always give you a clear estimate before any work begins, and there's no charge for an initial conversation.
Is AI actually suitable for a small business with 10 or 20 staff?
Often, yes. Small businesses can be particularly good candidates because decisions are faster, processes are easier to see end-to-end, and relatively small improvements can make a noticeable difference. Email triage, document processing and repetitive admin are just as common in a 10-person solicitors' practice as in a 500-person corporation, and AI has only recently become affordable at that scale.
What is Microsoft Copilot and do we need training?
Microsoft Copilot is AI built into Microsoft 365 — Word, Outlook, Teams, Excel. If your business uses M365, you may already have access to it. It can save significant time on email drafting, document creation and meeting summaries, but without training most teams either don't use it or use it poorly. Our Copilot training is practical and designed for non-technical business users — your team leaves knowing exactly how to use it in their daily work, not carrying a folder of slides they'll never open again.
How is Resolve different from other AI consultants?
We are developers as well as advisers, and we run IT for many of the businesses we advise. That means we can build what we recommend, deploy it into your existing systems and support it afterwards, and we understand the whole technology picture rather than the AI piece in isolation. We also start with the process rather than the tool. Sometimes the right answer is not AI at all, and we will say so.
Is our data safe when using AI tools?
Data handling is one of the most important things to get right with AI, and it's an area where many businesses are currently exposed without realising it. Your staff may already be pasting sensitive client data into ChatGPT. We help you understand what's actually happening, establish proper usage policies, and implement AI solutions with appropriate data handling built in from day one. No. We are based in Malvern, and our IT support work is mostly across Worcestershire, Herefordshire and Gloucestershire, because it helps to be able to turn up. AI, software and business-improvement work can be delivered anywhere in the UK, remotely or on site where it is useful.
